Pearl Lugger OPEN DAY Metung Wharf 26 and 27 September 2015

Monday 28 September 2015 | by Dan and Wendy McLay

Thanks to the many people who came to Metung Wharf on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2015 to look over the historic Pearl Lugger PAM, Gippsland Lakes newest tourist venture.

We also had an impressive display of all the diving apparatus that was used in the pearling industry over 100 years ago, along with many rare and interesting nordical relics from yesteryear. Sincere thanks to Peter and Margie Norder of Nordical Diving and Underwater Inspections for their wonderful support !

Gippsland's very own tall ship and the last of her kind, PAM has undergone an extensive refit over 25 years. PAM Pearl Lugger pleasure cruises will commence in December 2015 and sail from the Nungurner Jetty.

We appreciate your interest and look forward to welcoming you aboard for a cruise !
